About us

About Us

9th Callander Scout Group serves the town of Callander and the surrounding areas including Doune and Thornhill.
We have three thriving sections (Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts) that currently have around 60 young people supported by our team of Volunteers and Trustees.
We aim to provide Young People (and adults!) with fun and exciting experiences through weekly, term time meetings, weekend events, and camps.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
